9502 is the large 2.8" 640 x 480 pixel (VGA resolution) touch screen. i-mate 9502 also has microSD expandable memory and Bluetooth. Mobile versions of PowerPoint, Word and Excel are included in it.

i-mate 9502 weighs is 200 grams and measures 116 x 60 x 18mm. 9502 should be available from November 2007 onwards. This is a quad-band GSM device with GPRS and EDGE, tri-band UMTS (3G) with HSDPA high-speed data plus WiFi. It has on its back side 3 megapixel digital camera is avail with autofocus and flash.

i-mate is being compare with Nokia E90. And some people compare it with laptops.

Touch-Screen Phones fighting with Apple iPhone

Today I have heard by Economic Times, “This includes rollout of a wide portfolio of touch-screen phones. The companies also plan to boost their brand equity and foray into mobile services businesses like Apple’s music service, iTunes.”

In this fight Nokia, Motorola and Samsung is competitor. In Asian country iPhone will launch till 2008. Before it they are going to compete with iPhone. We know that all over world has impressed by iPhone and its competitor is in bad condition.

With it by ET, “A study by the research firm Strategy Analytics claims that touch-screen user interface in mobile phones will start to see significant growth by the end of 2007. By 2012, 40% of all phones may incorporate touch-screen technology, the study notes.”

I think now the fighting will take place in other manufactures, too.

Sony PlayStation first was launch in Japan in 1994. Later it made entry in the U.S. in 1995 and the Europe in the same year. It was a big success in the continents of America and Europe. Sony play station, the 32 bit videogame console of fifth generation was launched by Sony computer entertainment in December 1994. Today I was studying news paper, found some news about Apple and Nokia. ET has published its international business section that now Apple will allow third-party applications to work directly on the iPhone. It was the word of Steve Jobs.

In Steve Jobs words, “We are excited about creating a vibrant third-party developer community around the iPhone and enabling hundreds of new applications for our users.”

Economics Times further writes in its news, “Jobs noted that rival Nokia also does not allow third-party applications to be loaded onto some of its new phones unless the applications have a digital signature that can be traced to a known developer.

“While this makes such a phone less than ‘totally open,’ we believe it is a step in the right direction,” Jobs wrote of Nokia’s stance. Apple shares have more than doubled since January. It reached a new high Wednesday to close at $172.75, up $3.17, or nearly 2%.”

I think it is war between big companies to lead market. Further ET writes about Nokia N810, “The N810 resembles Apple’s recently introduced iPod Touch Internet multimedia device, which also goes without phone features and costs $299. Nokia’s new device was unveiled at a news conference ahead of the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco.
Among the key differences, users can choose a touch screen, writing stylus or pop-up keyboard that hides behind its screen that is more than 4 inches across — larger than Apple devices. The company on Thursday reported an 85% rise in profit for the third quarter as new models won customers from Motorola. Net income increased to e1.56 billion ($2.23 billion) from e845 million, a year earlier. Sales rose 28% to e12.9 billion.”

Here one thing is clear that war of market may lead one of the most populated products. We can see after iPhone announcement most of the company in under presser because people are going to search with Apple iPhone. In this situation Nokia which is big company in mobile marketing will sure do something to cover market and attract the people.
