Motorola Introduces Rival A455 Messaging Phone

Motorola introduces a new messaging phone - Rival A455 in Canada on the TELUS network. Canada is the most famous country to send texting. So, the company is trying to give A455 messaging mobile to the country.

The mobile phone is great in look. It has some great functionality and features also. Motorola A455 supports QWERTY keyboard and boasts of SMS features. It gives the experience of touching to send texts, emotions and instant messages.

The Motorola A455 comes in two colours – purple and tin silver. A455 Rival allows users to make a call using an external touch paid dialer without opening the slider. The phone is equipped with basic features like – 2MP camera for normal photography. It has capacity to store 500 text massages. It is the biggest function of this phone which has never been seen in any mobile. It has decent media player which supports a 3.5 mm jack. Memory of the phone can be expanded up to 8GB.

Motorola A455 Rival is equipped with preinstalled IM clients. In Canada the phone will available on stores under three-year contract. Still it has not been announced the phone as global.

Motorola is the famous name in mobile communication. Motorola launches simple and smart mobile phones. Again it has introduces as A455 a great messenger phone but it is still only for Canada. We can wait the phone globally but it has not been revealed to launch as globally still.

Sony recently unveils two new notebooks for Philippines – Sony VAIO W mini-notebook and the NW lifestyle-oriented laptop. Latitude 2100 Notebook in India Launched by Dell

Recently, Latitude 2100 notebook in India has been announced by Technology giant Dell. The Latitude 2100 begins at Rs 23,205. It would be available in five different colours.

Dell claimed that Latitude 2100 notebook has been designed to fulfill the needs of school-going children, public sector and enterprise customers. Latitude 2100 is also available with optional touch screen, solid-state drives, an external DVD-RW optical drive, quick-connect handles and shoulder straps and a webcam.

It is powered by Intel Atom processor N270. Its weigh is only 1.32 kg with a 3-cell battery. It has three-in-one hard disk features - Media Card Reader and VGA port. It supports Windows XP, Vista, Linux and Ubuntu operating systems.

Dell Latitude 2100 offers 0/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet for connectivity and full suite of wireless communication options. The notebook comes with optional keyboard also.

Dell has been ranked by Fortune magazine as the 25th-largest company in the Fortune 500 list in 2006. Now, it comes with all in one PC Dell Studio One 19.

Studio One 19 desktop PC of Dell would be available in various colours - Tuscan red, navy blue, charcoal, powder pink and solid pure white. It is all-in-one PC from Dell. It would be available in Indian markets by middle of June, 2009.

Girish Mehta who is a senior official of Dell said,

“The new Studio One 19 is as nice to look at as it is functional. More and more people are moving the desktop out of their study and making it the center of heir entertainment and computing experience inside the home. The Studio One 19 is the ideal system for that need and is about lifestyle and design that is affordable for the family.”

Dell Studio One 19 has features to edit multi-touch photo, play list compilation, web browsing, notes and slideshow creation.

Dell Latitude 2100 has an affordable price Rs 23,205 for Indian laptop market. It is sure that Latitude 2100 would not be a leader like – Apple’s and Microsoft laptops but the lowest price will attract the Indian customers.

Vodafone Entered in Mobile Phone Applications Market and Abolished Roaming Charges

Now, Vodafone has decided to enter in mobile phone applications market to capitalize on the boom in download. It also wants to generate huge revenues by creating applications store like rivals such as Apple, Nokia, Google and BlackBerry.

Apple iTune store has earned billions of dolors in few months. Within 6 months about 1 billion applications have been downloaded by its customers.

Vodafone is going to launch the application store which will provide local information. The company will take 30% cut of any charge levied by application developers. Application download has already been revolutionized by Apple iPhone.

Michel Combes who is the head of Vodafone European business said with guardian.co.uk, “Our initiative is unique by its scale - any device, any operating system, any country and this is embedded in our network, our billing system and our location capabilities.”

Vodafone store will be a joint venture of Vodafone, China Mobile, Softbank in Japan and Verizon Wireless in the US. These will represent more than 700 million potential customers.

On the other hand, the company has abolished roaming charges for British customers traveling in Europe. According to this terms “Vodafone’s customers will be able to call and text phones in Britain from 35 European countries for the price they would be charged in Britain.” The news was published in business.timesonline.co.uk online magazine.

Further Vodafone said to the magazine, “a mobile phone user on one of its plans with 600 inclusive minutes and unlimited texts would be able to use these on holiday without paying any extra charges under the new arrangement.”

Both steps will lead to higher position of Vodafone in telecom Industry because it is the time of recession. In this time, Vodafone is going to offer customer oriented terms and products.

We can’t blame to BlackBerry because it launches all types of phones like Nokia. Recently, Nokia had launched TV feature in mobile phones but BlackBerry has not introduced this feature still.
